Who we are
At I Edu Tales, we believe that digital experiences should bring families closer, not pull them apart.
We are a team of designers, technologists, and storytellers united by a shared mission: to transform screen time into meaningful family time through playful, educational storytelling.
We know what it feels like to want the best for children in a world full of noise. That’s why we’re building a platform that supports emotional development, language learning, and parent-child connection, all through the power of co-created stories.
Our approach combines creative storytelling, intuitive design, and AI-powered personalisation to make every tale unique, engaging, and developmentally meaningful.
We started this journey with one simple question:
What if screen time became story time together?
Now, we’re building the answer.
We’re a small but mighty team based in Germany, with roots in AI, design, education, and storytelling:
Hanwool Park – Co‑Founder & Tech Lead
Hanwool is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with over 5 years in AI-driven product development. He holds a Master’s degree in Informatics (AI & ML) from the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Before co-founding I Edu Tales, Hanwool was the first employee at healthtech startup Mango Medical, where he spent 4 years building core AI products and full-stack applications. He also contributed to grant applications, product certifications, and ISO-compliant documentation (SDS, SRS), supporting the startup’s regulatory and technical readiness.
At I Edu Tales, Hanwool leads the development of our platform’s architecture and smart features — combining scalable AI, deep learning, and natural language processing to bring personalised storytelling to life.
Valentina Marzano – Co‑Founder & Business Lead
With over 12 years of experience across finance, logistics, and project management, Valentina leads business development, marketing strategy, and internal operations at I Edu Tales.
Her background combines creativity and structure: she studied Modern Literature and Cinematic Arts, and has since specialised in Agile methodologies, quality and process management, and digital transformation in corporate environments.
She brings a strategic mindset, a passion for storytelling, and hands-on operational leadership to the team.
Filipe Monteiro – Co‑Founder & Product Design Lead
Filipe is a product and UX designer with over 10 years of experience crafting user-centered digital experiences. With a background in product and graphic design, he has worked across sectors from e-commerce to education, and also mentors aspiring designers.
As a Product Design tutor, Filipe brings a strong human-centered approach to every project, combining aesthetic sensitivity with usability and accessibility. He’s passionate about creating digital experiences that are both emotionally engaging and intuitive to use.
At I Edu Tales, Filipe leads all aspects of visual identity, user research, and product design, crafting magical journeys that resonate with both children and parents.
I Edu Tales is a web-based platform that reimagines traditional storytelling as an interactive, educational experience for modern families. Designed for children aged 3–6 and their parents, our platform combines the power of storytelling with AI and playful design to support early learning and emotional development.
Our minimum-viable product turns the “What if?” behind I Edu Tales into a hands-on family experience, delivered through three connected moments:
Pick a theme, set your child’s interests, and add any special touch-points— from favourite characters to feelings they’re working through. In seconds, the platform shapes a bespoke storyline that already feels like it belongs to your family.
Responsible AI weaves your inputs into an age-appropriate, beautifully illustrated tale. Gentle learning cues, lively narration, and built-in vocabulary highlights keep young readers engaged while quietly nurturing language and emotional skills.
After the final page, the adventure blossoms into interactive mini-games, reflection prompts, and role-play ideas designed for parents and children to explore together—turning story time into active, empathy-building play.
We envision a world where technology supports emotional connection, not replaces it.
Our goal is to become a trusted hub for early childhood storytelling, where families across cultures can co-create, play, and learn together. We aim to make I Edu Tales accessible in multiple languages, formats, and experiences, from mobile devices to printed storybooks, always with the child’s development and the family bond at heart.
I Edu Tales was born from real-life conversations with parents, educators, and early childhood experts. We surveyed over 100 families to understand what they truly need, and where today’s tools fall short.
We are currently self-funding the development of our first working prototype, focusing on building a meaningful, high-quality foundation before expanding into other features. Every element is crafted with care and tested through ongoing conversations with our future users.
